My name is Emily Aitken and I’m a NASM Personal Trainer and Certified Health Coach at Uplift Fitness. As a child and throughout my high school years, I wasn’t athletic at all. I was completely uncoordinated and overall, I lived a fairly inactive lifestyle! However, once I was in University I hit a breaking point with my health—I suffered from chronic fatigue, digestion distress and had a very poor relationship with food. I knew it was time for a change, so I dove head first into the world of health, wellness and fitness. It completely changed my life, and I was shocked at how even just the smallest and most simple changes could have such a drastic impact on my life. I loved the feeling of being strong, energized, and finally feeling good about myself. Since then, I’ve become extremely motivated to help others like myself who are feeling stuck and want to change, but just don’t know how. If you are confused, intimidated, or overwhelmed by fitness and nutrition, just know that you are not alone! I would be so excited to help you become the strongest version of yourself ever and to crush those goals once and for all.  

In addition to my Personal Training services, I also offer combined training and health coaching packages. This is so you can truly make that total body and mind transformation you’ve always wanted to. I love making working out and healthy eating fun, realistic, and sustainable for everyone.
